Our Staff

Pastor Dan Dahl
	Pastor Dahl was called to serve our Lord Jesus Christ and the members of Shades Valley Lutheran Church in August of 2007. Pastor Dahl graduated from Luther College with majors in Sociology and Psychology and from Luther Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. He has served as an ordained pastor since 1980 in Brazil, Florida, Georgia and now Alabama. Pastor Dahl and his wife Denise have one daughter, Nina, who is happily married to Erik and living in Georgia. Pastor Dahl has the heart of a missionary, joyfully and enthusiastically living out the Gospel on a daily basis among the members of Shades Valley and the surrounding community.
Marcia Giordano
	Marcia graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources, Outdoor Recreation and Management. A member of Shades Valley for 17 years, she has been active with the youth for over 12 years and became director in 1999. Growing up in the Lutheran church has given her an extensive commitment to youth and a purpose for furthering Christ's commission in the world. Marcia and her husband have three children.
Crystal M. Mittermaier
	Crystal is a graduate of Capital University and has been Director of Music and Organist at Shades Valley Lutheran since 1985.
