Grace and peace to you from the St. Mark’s chapter of the Women of the ELCA (WELCA). We hope that you are all safe and well as all of us begin our second year of this Covid-19 Pandemic.
Since the Diaspora Cluster Meeting last year was cancelled, St. Mark’s WELCA is pleased to announce that we will use the Zoom format in order to get together with many of you this spring. It is an opportunity for Lutheran women throughout the state to join in fellowship, Bible Study, and old-fashioned fun while sitting in our own homes. It will be held on Saturday, April 24th at 10:00AM, and all women of the ELCA are invited to attend. Even if you don’t have an active WELCA organization at your congregation, please consider joining us.
The theme for this year’s Cluster is “Everyday Hope” based on Romans 5:1-11, and our 2 hours together will include the introduction of Diana Palma, our Synod Representative, and the Cluster Leader, Roberta Stamp. We have also planned fellowship time and are honored that Kellie Lisi Davis, MADM, will speak.
If you are interested in joining us, email email@example.com to be put on the Zoom list, and please share this information with the other women in your congregation. We are excited about seeing old and new friends for this spirit-filled day, and are sure that you won’t be disappointed when you join us.
